Betsy was in town ( Abby's sister) so we decided go to the 45th annual fish fry in Trinidad CA (6/9/2002). The view was nice in the light house but what was great is we could see whales! And lots of them! There was a very large pod or several smaller ones. We went out on the fog horn plat form for a closer view. Sometimes you could see as many as three at a time on the surface, some as big as a bus only a one hundred feet away right below us, and we got some nice pictures and mpeg movies. I over heard allot of the visitors that day saying unbelievable! And it was the most whales I too have seen.   Trinidad Beach North Side Look Whales!
